Dear Pastor & friends,
I read recently of a million Bibles in twenty-languages being sent to New York City! I wondered if that was enough languages or Bibles! This wonderful Book the Bible walks more roads and knocks on more doors, speaking in the mother tongue of individuals, if they would just get a copy, read it and obey its Gospel.
Earlier this month I spoke at the 90th Anniversary of my home church in Lansing, Michigan, and then Sandy and I went north and spent a few days enjoying the cool weather (it was 39 one morning) and celebrating our 52nd wedding anniversary. I preached the 17th at a wonderful church near Huntsville, Alabama, to a full house on Wednesday night! Amazing in today’s church climate. I am in Monroe, North Carolina closing out a meeting tonight and then fly to Bloomington, IL and close out a conference there on Friday night. God has been good to this old evangelist and despite the aches, pains and other maladies, I am still on the trail for souls and serving our wonderful Saviour.
Of course, I am eternally grateful to the churches and a few individuals that support our labors for Christ as a full-time evangelist. I pray God’s best would be your portion and His grace, as always, sufficient.
