September Twenty Three

Two Thousand Thirteen

Dear Pastor and Friends,

I am in the Tri-Cities Airport in Tennessee writing these words.  The mountains surrounding this terminal are beautiful with a fringe of color just kissing the green leaves awaiting the full display of autumn’s grandeur.  We serve a great God and his handiwork is on display here and everywhere for his people to enjoy.

D.L. Moody said, “If you want good water don’t paint the pump, clean out the well!”  I arrived at the country church this past week to preach and God showed up in a marvelously mighty way on Friday night.  I never even preached (some said that is why the service was so good!).  Seriously, the people began getting right with God, each other, the pastor and even the pastor with a man who was somewhat of the catalyst for the church conflict and hadn’t been there in over a year, ‘ just happened’ to be there that night.  To be brief, “It was on!”  There was weeping, praising God, apologizing, forgiving and Glory!  God put the ‘cherry on top’ with a sinner walking the aisle Sunday morning, that churches first such happening in over a year!  Quit painting pumps and purge out your well and clean water will flow again (Eph. 4:30).

All the meetings in the month at September have been especially blessed of God.  Souls have been saved and many getting things right at the altars.  Praise God!.

Thank you so much for the major part you play with your prayers and material support of our revival work.  God Bless you much.

Happy in the service of the Saviour,

Tim Green
