Dear Pastor & church,

I would think that one of and perhaps the ultimate goal of a child of God, would be to be, Christ-like.  There is an old chorus that hums through the sound-track of soul; “To be like Jesus, To be like Jesus, All I ask to be like Him…”. I believe that when we are forgiving, we are like Jesus.  When we are merciful, we are like Him.  When sin is abhorrent and exceeding sinful, we are like the Saviour.  Space forbids me going further but obviously we should aspire to be like Jesus in al we think, say or do.  May God help each of us to succeed; “…unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ” (Eph. 4:13b).

I trust this note finds you blessed and your labors for our Lord richly rewarded.  November has been a month of just one meeting in a struggling church in northern Ohio.  However, the dear pastor was movingly encouraged and God worked in many lives.  I also deer hunted a couple of days in Michigan and except for the wonderful camaraderie of being with two of my sons, one brother and a nephew, I should have stayed home!  No buck!

Thanksgiving Day is tomorrow as I write, however, I want you to know that I am thankful, three hundred and sixty-five days of the year for your prayers and gracious giving to our labors for Christ Jesus.

Love & prayers,

Tim Green
