Dear Pastor & friends,
I guess no matter where you live a touch of Autumn is in the air. I have a church in Alaska and one in Florida that support out labors for the Lord so I might be wrong about the Fall in both their cases! Anyway, from the Midwest it is a blessing. At least here we have not “…entered into the treasures of the snow…” Job 38:22…yet!
As I have tried to limit my meetings to two or three a month; I preached a revival in Kalamazoo, Michigan and was one of the speakers at the Old Paths Conference in Elgin, Illinois (I was the oldest speaker of the bunch & was dubbed “The Patriarch,” not sure it was a compliment!) I close out this month with a meeting in Saraland, Alabama; beginning this coming Wednesday through the second of October. I covet your prayers for all the meetings the Lord sends my way; for souls saved and real revival to be experienced among God’s people.
I thank you from the depths of my heart for the churches and individuals that give to support our home and the ministry God has given me. I pray I will always represent Him and His church in a manner that brings honor and glory to our wonderful Saviour, Jesus Christ. The times have changed drastically over my fifty-two years of being called to preach and preaching His Word. However, God hasn’t changed and God help us to; “…meddle not with them that are given to change:” Pro. 24:21.
