Dear Pastor & friends,
The Apostle Paul wrote to the church at Colosse these compelling words; “For though I be present in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, joying and beholding your order, and the stedfastness of your faith in Christ.” (Col. 2:5). Some of you that support our labors for the Lord I preach for every year (except this strange and trying year), others every two years or so, and some I have never preached for you or even met you! Sadly, the absence of your presence and the joy of your countenance has been greatly missed by this preacher. However, as Paul was thankful, I too, am grateful for your faithful and steadfastness in helping us do the will of God. After five months of enforced idleness, preaching a Sunday or a couple days a month, I am back to a very full schedule; last week in Michigan, this week in Indiana and next week in Virginia, and then to Arizona! Pray with me that God will give this seventy-one-year-old body strength, my mind fresh and my heart invested in this work of God.
Sandy and I are both grateful for your prayers and support to our home and ministry. God has been more than good to us and treats us like we were His only children at times, I’m sure you feel the same too. God bless you all is my fervent prayer.
Basking in His blessings,
