Dear Pastor & friends,

I don’t know if I’ve ever experienced a warmer fall season…thank God for global warming! It sure saves on the heating bill, the leaf raking and the snow shoveling (those two chores will probably show up sometime anyway!)

I surely am grateful to the churches and people that support the ministry God has provided for me. Some have been saved in the last few meetings and my schedule is comfortably full up until the middle of December and I even have a meeting the week after Christmas! I have tried in recent meetings to preach messages to encourage God’s children to work for Him, due to what He has done for us. This positive approach has not seen altars filled with mourners but I trust folk have been stirred and out of gratitude, desire to serve Christ more faithfully than ever before.

The Apostle Paul wrote; “For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men” (Titus 2:11). One can follow the appearance of God’s grace to men all through the Old and New Testaments. If you are saved you can look in the rearview mirror of your life and be continually aware of the appearances of God’s grace in your own life and those of your loved ones and fellow Christians. This grace teaches us (vs. 12), causes us to be looking (vs. 13) and eternally grateful to the One who gave Himself for us (vs. 14). Now, brethren, I think that will preach!! What we have in Christ should help us to live for Him.

Thank you again from the depth of my heart for your thoughtful giving and faithful prayers for us. Sandy joins me in praising God for your kindness and that monthly in our behalf.

Your faithful friend & God’s blessed servant,

Tim Green
