May Twenty-One
Two Thousand Twelve

Dear Pastor and Friends:

Psalm 51 is an honest confession of sin from the humbled heart of Israel’s great King David. The portion of the prayer I’d like to consider is the latter part of Verse 17, “…a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.” There is a little saying that has found its way to a plaque that reads:
The Lord desires your whole heart,
But He will accept a broken one.
May the dear Lord help our hearts to be broken and open to Him!

Thank you so much for your loving kindness in continuing to undergird the ministry of revival that God has given me. With the economy like it is and people succumbing to the drumbeat of defeat in the liberal press, your faithful support is a vital source of real blessing. Sandy and I are grateful to God for you and your church’s help.

For over 30 years, I have annually preached on Mother’s Day in the White Plains Baptist Church of Mt. Airy, North Carolina. Last year a woman was saved, along with others, and this year the lady’s daughter was saved! Thank the Lord for fruit that remains and that reproduces after its own kind. Again, from the depths of my heart – Thank You!

From my heart to yours,

Tim Green
