Dear Pastor & friends,
The last Sunday in April, I closed a successful revival meeting in Ft. McMurray, Alberta; within a week the city of 80,000 plus was evacuated fleeing a forest fire that consumed over 800 square miles, destroying much of the town. No one has been allowed to return to their homes and at first blush, three of the member’s homes were completely engulfed in the flames. The church of around a hundred souls have been living in Edmonton, 250 miles from what is left of their lives and possessions on earth. Tim Green Ministries along with Wall of Grace Ministry and a few others have sent sizable checks to help these brothers and sisters in Christ. The text that staggered my thoughts was I John 3:17, read it and please give what you can or take up an offering to help these dear folks. As always, I thank you for your generous help to me and the work God has given me to do. I enjoyed the best revival of the year the first week of May. A backslider got right the first night and it was on!! On Mother’s Day I rejoiced to see a mom and dad kneeling with their son as he trusted Christ as his Saviour.
