Dear Friends in the Faith,

The last six Psalms in the Book of Psalms are filled with instructions to praise the LORD!  I think most of us are way behind in our praising of God for all He has done for us.  With the nations raging and men in power seemingly impotent, for lack of a better word, I am thankful we have our great God to worship, praise and labor for in these unsettling days.  If one’s mind is stayed or settled on Him nothing in this weary and wicked world should deter us from a path pleasing to God and culminating in PRAISE!

This month was packed with preaching, traveling and seeing God work in the lives of people.  I pray the fruit He gave will stay fresh and faithful in the days ahead.  There are always some travel interruptions, delays and just the ‘joys’ of air travel.  My schedule is filled for next several months and for that I am eternally grateful.  God has been more than good to this old, cane-wielding, doddering along evangelist.  Sore knees, arthritic fingers and nerve damage from shingles three years ago; really have no impact on my preaching voice, my eyes to study, do the daily tasks of editing The Baptist Bread, and putting sermons together.

I am grateful for the wonderful and faithful churches and people that give to our ministry and home.  I trust the Lord will bless each and every one of you.  Sandy joins me in our sincere appreciation for your prayers.

Yours for Jesus’ sake,

Tim Green
