Dear Pastor, church & friends,

I read two interesting quotes in recent days that were enlightening in respect to our current situation in America and in our churches.  A.W. Tozer wrote, “Truth. It is not the difficulty of discovering truth but the unwillingness to obey it that makes it so rare among men.  To stand by the truth of God against the current religious vogue is always unpopular and may be downright dangerous.”  The other is a thought garnered from an article by Franklin Graham that I will paraphrase to make it personal. “I have been preaching for forty-six years and am all for immigration!  I have spent my adult life encouraging people and informing folk how to immigrate from Earth to Heaven!  Hey, everyone is going to immigrate one day, either to Glory or a place where ‘global warming’ will feel like the Antarctic! There will be no hoax about that!

I thank our blessed supporters through these eventful days in which we live and serve God.  I have preached within fifteen miles of home the last two weeks and also spoke at a funeral in Dayton, Ohio.  The dear lady that passed was born in 1918 and born again as a teenager.  She left behind a legacy of a lifetime of faithful service and a lace trimmed mantle that I trust someone will pick up and follow her godly footsteps.

May God richly bless you all and know that you are prayed for daily by this evangelist.  Sandy sends her love and gratitude also.

Staying true & trusting Him,
