February Twenty Two

Two Thousand Eleven

Dear Pastor and friends,

My month was spent in “driving” to finish an edition of the Baptist Bread, and having my “frozen” shoulder diagnosed. Yes, I will have to endure some surgery in the coming weeks. In the meantime, thank God for cortisone shots! I had one recent meeting postponed and start one tomorrow in Statesville, North Carolina. Thank you so much for your help–especially in months like this one!

The great definition of faith in Hebrews 11:1 is further explained in verse 13, referring to Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham and Sarah. Thus, “These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed,…” They saw, they heard, they touched, and they spoke of the promises of FAITH! Faith is the divine link to the blessings of God in the midst of the storms of life. Faith is the victory that the Christian enjoys by seeing, hearing, touching, and speaking to the fact that what is not–Is!

I covet your prayers for real revival in our country and churches, and the individual lives of God’s people. May the Lord put an holy desire in each of our hearts and by faith may we know a spiritual renewal.

Again, I appreciate your faithful support, both financial and in prayer. God bless each of you is my heartfelt desire.

Your companion in grace,

?
