April Twenty Two

Two Thousand Nine

Dear Pastor and friends,

I am in the middle of three, two or three day meetings. I know it is not the duration of our meetings that delight Deity, but the reverence of God and His mighty presence in our midst that makes the difference. I sincerely trust the Lord will “show up” and do great and mighty things in our behalf. As our Book says in II Chronicles 7:14, “If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves,…” The initial evidence of real revival is a new spirit of humility among God’s people. We have nothing to boast in and I believe our taking credit for what transpires in meetings greatly grieves and quenches the Holy Ghost. From my simple outpost it is just wonderful to sit back weekly and watch God work. When good things happen the glory goes to God, and when less than positive results are experienced it must be me or the song leader’s fault! (Don’t take it personal all you good song leader friends of mine!).

This month opened up in Arizona. I preached meetings around Palm and Easter Sunday respectively. Two were saved on Resurrection Sunday morning! Sandy accompanied me on part of this trip and we enjoyed a grand time in the mountains, desert and among the cactus! It is a starkly beautiful part of our country. Speaking of our country…what a mess! Our dear nation surely needs prayer and a revival of Nineveh-like proportions.

Thank you so much for your faithful support to our home and work. Without you it would be impossible to continue doing what we are attempting for Him. You are so vital and I pray for each of you daily, praying God will bless you abundantly for your kindness and generosity.

My motto for the month is; Keep on keeping on! He is coming soon!!

Your companion in grace,

Tim Green
