Dear Pastor & friends,
Jesus had just informed His disciples and the multitudes that salvation appears when folk come like little children to Him. Also, the rich young ruler had gone away empty and Christ had made a sanctified comment concerning the difficulty of a rich man coming into the kingdom of God. The disciples were incredulous and the Saviour answered them with this great and profound truth; “…with God all things are possible” (Matthew 19:26b).
Friend, no matter your station in life—rich or poor—God can save. No matter your situation in life—bereaved or blessed—God can succor. No matter your standing in life—hurting or hopeful—God can supply. In any and all circumstances nothing is impossible with God! Please don’t wallow around in the bog of self-pity, but rejoice in the fact that nothing you face is beyond the realm of possibility with our great God! Did it ever occur to you that nothing ever occurred to Him? Everything you face in this life was first filtered through our heavenly Father…and He knows best. Glory to God!
I have enjoyed blessed meetings so far this month, with about a dozen saved. There are two more weeks of meetings ahead to watch God work! September is jammed with meetings in great churches and I anticipate God’s blessings and His ‘possibilities’ professed, proclaimed and promised. Wow, that’s a lot of “Ps”, but I think we will perceive some blessings too.
My deepest appreciation and heartfelt thanks goes to all of you that participate in the provision for this ministry and our home. Sandy joins me in thanking all of you and may God bless you greatly. I remain…
Your ‘nearly’ 65 year old evangelist (can you believe it?),
Tim Green
