Dear Pastor & friends in the faith,
Wow! What a few weeks of difficulty and distress since my last letter. I did go to Arlington, Texas and could hardly preach on Monday night. No voice! I got sicker and sicker and came home early on Wednesday and to the doctor. I had/have pneumonia and had to cancel two meetings in North Carolina. The thing that perhaps brought on pneumonia was something called Aspersion Syndrome! I will not describe the outcome of that but it led to my recovery to date. Thank God!
On a saner note, I flew to Dothan, Alabama and preached the 31st anniversary Sunday of Crossroads Baptist Church, with founding pastor, Doug MacCormack. There was over 500 in attendance and over 30 professions of faith. It was a wonderful day with this fine man and his church of dedicated people. Hopefully, I go to Michigan to start a meeting tomorrow. Please pray for my health and I am still on a crutch due to recent knee surgery and the needed therapy that was interrupted due to the pneumonia.
