Dear Pastor & friends,

After the exciting, spiritual rewarding ‘busy-ness’ of March and April it was refreshing to have a few days of rest and relaxation.  Sandy and I went on our annual vacation in May (this month has over the years become an ‘off’ month for many evangelists; with Mother’s Day, Christian school and Bible college graduations consuming the church’s schedules) so we vacate!  Sandy thought this was our best vacation ever!  I guess because she was with me!!  I did work a little on the Baptist Bread devotional I have edited for the last eighteen-plus years.  Oh, I preached on Mother’s Day at Mt. Airy, North Carolina, where I have been for every Mother’s Day, but one, for over thirty years.  We saw five souls saved that Sunday morning and great fellowship with my many friends at White Plains Baptist Church.  The new pastor, David Tucker, succeeding his father, is not changing anything and keeping a straight path for God.  Praise the Lord!

As this past week has been a time of remembering, Memorial Day, and we do honor those who have given their all in the service of our country; I also pay homage to all my preacher friends, loved ones and family members who have labored faithfully in the Lord’s army and having laid down their swords (King James Bibles) have gone on to their heavenly reward.  God bless their sainted memory!

I sincerely thank every church and each individual that supports our work and ministry.  May God bless you much is my earnest desire.  I also covet your prayers for power in preaching, grace in circumstances and safety in travel.  Each of you are a vital link in the ministry entrusted to this servant.

Your friend & and His grateful child,

Tim Green

P.S. Please enjoy the enclosed tract and wonderful story of grace.
