March Twenty One

Two Thousand Fourteen

Dear Pastor & friends,

Do you think the worst winter in over one hundred years is over?  I sure hope so.  I know these difficult months have had devastating impact on church attendance, budgets and health.  Many places I’ve been have missed several services due to ice, snow and extreme cold.  I pray the dear Lord will help each individual and church to recoup, restore and revitalize in the days ahead.  Our great God can resupply, refresh and replenish His people and churches.  I trust Him!

I have been very busy this month and things stay the same for a while.  I was saved forty-four years ago, and on most of my spiritual birthdays since I have preached and seen people saved or in personal soul winning I’ve been blessed to lead someone to the Lord.  This month I was preaching in southern Alabama on March 15th and God gave me three souls in the service that night.  What a present from my Saviour and yours.  Last week I was in a wonderful conference at my alma mater, Midwestern Baptist College in Orion, Michigan.  Tomorrow I’m off to Atlanta, Georgia.

Sandy joins me in thanking all of you who have a part in helping me do the work of an evangelist and supply the needs of our home.  Without your faithful and in some cases, sacrificial giving, it would be impossible.  I pray the dear Lord will help you and bless you abundantly as you give and support the work God has given to me.  I covet your prayers for revival and real power in the preaching services.  Oswald Chambers said, “The Holy Ghost will fall on those who hear the Word, when He has fallen on those who speak the Word.”  I covet your prayers that this would be reality in the meetings God gives me.

Your companion in grace,

Tim Green
