Dear Pastors & Friends,
I just completed my first two weeks of the revival schedule in the great state of Mississippi. The weather was warm and I got sick! This old body of mine flirted with pneumonia a few days but thanks to my doctor back home and the battery of drugs he sent me…I recovered…just in time to get home and pass it on to Sandy! Enough health concerns!
“But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world” (Gal. 6:14). To quote an old, esteemed friend, Dr. Randy Pike;
“All preachers, pastors, missionaries, teachers, and learned persons with university degrees must return to Mount Calvary. Look at Him who was affixed there; it was FOR YOU to be saved and avoid Hell. Together we pray, ‘O Father in Heaven, keep the old rugged cross planted on the highest hill of my heart and life.’”
I am off to Buffalo, New York this week (divine scheduling!). I will be in Louisiana, Tennessee and South Carolina before you receive another missive from me. Please pray with me that God will bless with revived saints, restored backsliders and redeemed souls in these days of prayed for meetings. Thank you so much for your continued support, prayers and just knowing YOU and the LORD are on my side is enough to keep me keeping on for Christ. We so desperately need revival in our churches!
